Our Passion

Loud exhaust sounds and the smell of fuel and burned rubber is what we live for. At the office we still run to the window when there is a great sounding car passing by. Trapagas is 100% owned by car enthusiasts, and that is exactly what we are trying to express in our clothing.

All Trapagas products are designed in the Netherlands.

Every piece of clothing going through an extensive design and testing phase before being released to market, and we only use the highest quality fabrics chosen by us using renewable and sustainable sources where possible.

Our products are manufactured by a luxury manufacturer responsible for other big names you know, but developed using our own moulds, patents and shaping for the perfect fit.

How Trapagas Started

Company founder Robbin van Laarhoven has always been into cars since he was born. After finishing school he didn't know what to do in his life. He always wanted to have his own brand in the automotive scene and kept brainstorming about what he could do to fulfill his automotive dream.

After many brainstorm sessions in his car he finally came up with an idea. He needed new cloting but could never find any automotive apparel that fitted his style. And that is how Trapagas started.

''Trapagas'' is a word that means ''give it gas''. For Robbin it also meant something different than just putting you foot on the accelerator of the car. For him it also meant to give extra gas in life, because that's what you need to do to fulfill your dreams.
